Reference of the week

I had been spending an hour per week on my Spanish before I arrived and although I'd familiarity with the tenses and some vocabulary, I couldn't really talk nor understand any conversations. After 2 weeks on the course, I was able to chat to people and control the conversation so as it didn't get too deep and lose me, which was a great surprise and confidence booster. The teachers I had at elemadrid were super; fun, intellectual, professional and encouraging. The Rainbow Course was a mystery to me before I started, but it was one of the best parts of my 4 weeks here in Spain. I learned so much about spanish culture and contemporary events and the careful structure of these classes meant that after a short while I simply just understood what was being said in Spanish - obviously not 100%, bit I'd always leave enlightened!
