A - CUATRO SITUACIONES


1ª SITUACIÓN: EN EL MERCADO

A: ¡Buenos días! ¿Qué le pongo?
B: Quería un kilo de naranjas.
A: ¿Algo más?
B: Sí, me pone también medio kilo de peras pero que estén maduras. Y me da un racimo de plátanos pero que estén un poquito verdes.
A: ¿Ya está?
B. Sí, dígame cuánto es.
A: Pues, un kilo de naranjas, medio de peras y los plátanos son seis Euros con cincuenta.

2ª SITUACIÓN: EN UN RESTAURANTE PIDIENDO EL POSTRE

Camarero: ¿Qué van a tomar de postre?
Cliente 1: Para mí, fresas con nata.
Cliente 2: Para mí, una macedonia, por favor.

3ª SITUACIÓN: EN CASA

Persona 1: ¡Oye! Juan, no hay mucha fruta en la nevera. Sólo hay un racimo de plátanos y unas cuantas manzanas.
Persona 2: En el cajón de la nevera también hay unas peras.
Persona 1: ¡Pero están medio podridas!

4ª SITUACIÓN: ¿SABÍAS QUE...

En España, tomamos como postre: fruta del tiempo, fresas con nata, macedonia de frutas, tartas variadas, helados,etc.
Y de primer plato...¡melón con jamón!

probar to taste, to try, to prove
saber bien/mal to taste good, bad
tragar to swallow

EXPRESIONES

Esta fruta está verde/madura. This fruit is unripe/ripe.
Esta fruta está dulce/ácida. This fruit is sweet/sour.
Este plátano está podrido. This banana is rotten.
Un racimo de uvas o plátanos. A bunch of grapes or bananas.
Una raja de melón o sandía. A slice of melon or watermelon.
Una rodaja de piña. A slice of pineapple.
Un gajo de naranja. A segment of an orange.
La sandía, la manzana,... tienen pepitas. Watermelons,apples,...have pips, seeds.
El melón, la sandía,...tienen corteza. Melons, watermelons,...have a rind.
El melocotón, el albaricoque,... tienen hueso. Peaches, apricots,...have a pit, stone.
La cáscara del plátano. The skin of the banana.
La piel del melocotón es suave. The skin, peel of the peach is smooth.

C - CONSEJOS DIDÁCTICOS

Aprender una palabra nueva no es fácil pero todos tenemos "trucos o estrategias" para aprenderlas.
1º ¿Por qué no haces grupos con tarjetas de colores? Por ejemplo, para los verbos utiliza el color rojo, para los sustantivos, el color azul, etc.
2º De toda la lista de vocabulario selecciona ocho palabras e intenta crear una historia. Si contextualizas las palabras podrás recordarlas mejor.
3º Has aprendido una palabra cuando la recuerdas, cuando la puedes identificar rápidamente, cuando la utilizas adecuadamente, etc.

D - EJERCICIOS DE VOCABULARIO

Ejercicio 1:

¿De qué fruta se trata? Lee atentamente las siguientes definiciones:

Es el fruto del naranjo, es redondo y desde luego de color naranja:
Es el fruto del limonero, es ácido y de color amarillo:
Es el fruto de la vid, de él se obtiene el vino:
El fruto del avellano es...:
La palmera tiene muchos...:
El fruto del nogal es...:
La higuera da un fruto blando y dulce:

Ejercicio 2:

Relaciona las dos columnas. En algunas puede haber más de una posibilidad:

a. gajo 1. sandía
b. rodaja 2. plátano
c. racimo 3. melocotón
d. raja 4. piña
e. cáscara 5. naranja
f. hueso 6. melón
g. pepita 7. uvas
h. piel 8. ciruela

Ejercicio 3:

Coloca en las frases las siguientes expresiones. Cuidado con la concordancia:

ÁCIDO - MADURO - VERDE - PODRIDO - DULCE

a. Estas manzanas están muy ........ y no se pueden comer.
b. Los melocotones están ........, están deliciosos.
c. Esta naranja está muy ........ Voy a ponerle un poquito de azúcar.
d. Prefiero la fruta ........ aunque tenga muchas calorías.
e. Estas peras llevan mucho tiempo en la nevera y están ........, hay que tirarlas a la basura.
